Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Pilot users

While the Service is offered free of charge, no refund situation arises. You may delete your account and content at any time from within the app, or by writing to tech@atharvad.me.

2. Future paid plans

When paid plans launch, this section will be updated with the specific terms. The general framework we intend to follow:

• Monthly subscriptions will be cancellable at any time, effective at the end of the then-current billing cycle. No pro-rata refund for the unused portion of a paid month.
• Annual subscriptions will be eligible for a pro-rata refund within the first 14 days of activation, less any AI-usage costs already incurred.
• Disputed charges should be reported within 30 days of the invoice date. Genuine billing errors will be refunded in full to the original payment method.
• Statutory rights under Indian consumer law are unaffected by this policy.

3. AI usage costs

Each extraction and chat interaction consumes paid third-party AI capacity. Once tokens have been streamed from the AI provider, the cost has been incurred and is generally non-refundable. We will clearly indicate AI usage in invoices when paid plans go live.

4. Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account at any time. We will delete your account and associated tender content from primary storage within 30 days of the request, subject to the retention provisions in our Privacy Policy.

5. Disputes

For any refund or billing dispute, write to tech@atharvad.me with the subject line “Refund Request” and your account email. We aim to acknowledge within 3 business days and resolve within 14 business days.

6. Changes

This policy will be revised before paid plans go live. The effective date and version above will be updated and active users will be notified by email.
